The Tropic of Capricorn (or the Southern Tropic) is the circle of latitude that contains the subsolar point on the December (or southern) solstice. It is thus the southernmost latitude where the Sun can be directly overhead. Its northern equivalent is the Tropic of Cancer.

The Tropic of Capricorn is one of the five major circles of latitude that mark mapsof the Earth. As of 28 March 2016, its latitude is 23°26′13.8″ (or 23.43718°) [1]south of the equator, but it is very gradually moving northward, currently at the rate of 0.47 arcseconds, or 15 metres, per year.[2]

Musina in the Limpopo Valley is the northernmost town in South Africa. Situated close to the Beit Bridge border post between South Africa and Zimbabwe, it is the main entry point into the country from states north of South Africa.

The town developed around the copper mining industry in the area. Copper was first discovered in prehistoric times by the Musina people who named it "˜musina', meaning "˜spoiler', because they considered it a poor substitute for iron, which is what they were after.

The mineral was later rediscovered and mined by 20th century miners. Today iron, coal, magnetite, graphite, asbestos, diamonds and copper are mined here. With fascinating attractions and many game farms in the area, tourism and hunting play an important role in the economy of the town.

MOPANE – This is the home of  Mopane worms, During summer season between December and January month our mothers and grand mother will spend most of their days in the bush catch Mopane worms .

This worms feeds itself with Mopane tree leafs, hence we catches it on Mopane trees .

The area is mostly a game farming with lots of gravel road, it is the most wonderful area to drive around as you will enjoy along side the road beautiful view and all indigenous wild animals such as Kudu, Impala, Jackal , Rebit and Pig . The indigenous tree that our grand mother use it to us when we were still young for all sorts of medication depending on the kind of sickness.

WATERPOORT : on this area it is mostly plantation Agricultural , the soil is very fertile produces most of tomatoes and water melon.

Waterpoort has a bit of both in terms of road, bit of gravel and tared road .  the agricultural product are transported  mostly by road transport to Gauteng province .

Water poort is known by production , production when it comes to agriculture.
