Arrival in South Africa and get transferred from Airport to our first visit in Soweto. Is a township 15km from the Johannesburg City Centre. It is famous for being the residence of many South African pre-independence political activists. Nelson Mandela, Winnie Madikizela Mandela, Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, and many more grew up in this township. Their houses are now historic political sites.
The second visit will be at Craddle of Humankind. This is one of the spectacular places some 50km away from Johannesburg City Centre. It is also known as the Center of human origins. The local people prefer calling it Maropeng. Here human skeletons believed to be the oldest in the world were found dating some millions of years in age. A tour in these caves is a mind opener and undoubtedly unlocks the answer to the question” where do human beings come from?”
It\’s really great to decide to book this tour
